The Teacher
Heather Hills Perez is a nationally certified teacher of music. She enjoys working with students of all ages and levels to develop their musicianship and give them a creative outlet for self-expression. She is passionate about performing and works to give her students the skill and confidence to succeed onstage or wherever their music might take them.
Piano lessons
Learn how to apply classical keyboard technique to many styles of music. Students ranging in age from kindergarten to adult will learn to read the grand staff, keep a steady beat, and express themselves through music. Advanced students will study the masters of the piano, including Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and many others. Fun popular songs are used as supplemental solos.
Harp lessons
Choose from pedal harp or lever harp and learn to play like an angel! Young students will start on a smaller harp that better suits their small height and hands. Classical technique will be applied to classical, Celtic, sacred, and popular repertoire. All levels from beginner to professional are welcome. Instrument rental is available in Raleigh, NC and Midlothian, VA.
Voice lessons
A beautiful song starts with the first breath. Voice lessons include learning the basics of musicianship, breath support, and proper vocal technique. Songs range from pop and Disney to staples from musical theater and classical repertoire.
The beautiful, spacious music studio provides a quiet space in which to focus, learn, and grow. The instruments are well maintained, and books and other learning materials are readily available.
